Sigh

     Stuff I shouldn't have learned now and stuff I should've have learned back then. Every time I sit here in the middle of the night, in a room with only one light source, one computer, and a wall that separates me from the outside. Once filled with kids and adults walking, talking and playing now asleep in this silent solitude, only the night sky's fill the void which they left behind. A lit room, last to be left on in this neighborhood. The only sound you can hear from it is the music flowing quietly through the cold night's wind.

     When I'm not playing games or talking to friends over the internet, I sit here and wonder. What I can do, What I should've done and What I could've done. People often say maturity is from aging and experience in life.  My parents told me you shouldn't stay inside all the time because you will age and mature too quickly. I guess you can say they are right because time can be disjointed when you are not keeping up with the rest of the world. Friends will be harder to talk too and all those nights in silent solitude, where I sit. Thinking and thinking of the journey I had up until now: my first crush, my first field trip, my first camping trip, my first anime convention, my first computer, my first sports team, and my friends.

     They say girls mature faster than boys, well I don't doubt them in fact I think its kinda true. Maturity is something I wish I had back when I was in school. The things it would've benefited me and things that wouldn't. I should've been more mature back then, but since I became more mature now. It has only left me with regrets.
